Shiatsu uses pressure on meridians to harmonize internal energies.
Originating from Japan, shiatsu is a manual therapy that uses rhythmic thumb, palm, and sometimes elbow pressure along the body's energy meridians. Unlike conventional massage, it is performed fully clothed, lying on a futon on the floor, allowing the practitioner to work with gravity and deliver deeper, more precise pressure.
Shiatsu is recognized for its benefits on stress, sleep disorders, muscle and joint pain, headaches, and digestive imbalances. By restoring the free flow of vital energy (Ki), it helps the body regain its natural balance and stimulates its self-healing capacity.
Each shiatsu session in Halle begins with an energy assessment to identify areas of blockage. The treatment is then tailored to your specific needs. A cycle of three to five sessions spaced two to three weeks apart is recommended for lasting rebalancing, followed by monthly maintenance to sustain the benefits.
